🎊 As the Paralympic Games kicked off yesterday, we're thrilled to announce a major leap forward in fair competition. Queensland will be at the forefront of sporting inclusion with a cutting-edge AI system for athlete classification, ready for the 2032 Games. Advance Queensland, in partnership with The University of Queensland and FOME.ai, is investing over $1.5 million to develop an AI-powered system that ensures fair and accurate classification for Para athletes worldwide. This innovation will break down barriers, making Paralympic sports more accessible, especially for those in remote regions. But that's not all! Through the Private Sector Pathways Inclusive Sport Tech challenge, three trailblazing businesses are also making waves: 👉Cerge is enhancing accessibility in sports venues with their Companion Website and App, empowering users and boosting participation across Queensland. 👉 Able Digital Wellness is bringing sports into every home with a platform that personalises experiences and connects users with local programs, ensuring everyone has a chance to get involved. 👉 BowerBird Industries is redefining fitness with the Virtual Handbike, a versatile tool for exercise, rehabilitation, and competitive training, complete with custom-fit capabilities. These innovations are setting the stage for a more inclusive sporting future, empowering the next generation of Paralympians and expanding opportunities for people with disabilities. 🌟 #Innovation #InclusiveSports #AdvanceQueensland Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gK7Ryc-B
