Listening to so much about customer-centricity during today's #space4commerce from Mastercard was refreshing. Highlights that stood out for me? ▪ Test ideas at different stages of product or service development much sooner than you are probably used to. ▪ Pay attention to customers ' behaviours. Economic data often do not accurately portray customers' sentiments. ▪ Personalisation is not always good. If you do it, do it right. How often did you see an ad for a product you just bought? ▪ Customer-driven > Data-driven 🔵 Three words conclusion: 🔵 Test and learn. BONUS: Quote from David Ogilvy fits: “The trouble with market research is that people don't think what they feel, they don't say what they think and they don't do what they say.” Thanks for the invite, and congratulations on the organisation and excellent presentations.
