I'm not someone who has a closet overflowing with shoes, but the right shoe for your outfit IS important! And your shoe is often the element of your outfit that can make you FEEL powerful! " CASUAL MEANS INFORMAL, NOT CARELESS" When the word 'casual' is mentioned most people think of the "Laziest" peices of clothing in their wardrobe. Sweat pants, joggers, hoodies, over sized tees etc. Casual simply means Informal. Clearly put, everything that makes an outfit to be considered formal is taken out. Like the tie, Jacket, High heeled shoes, belts etc. Casual doesn't mean you should rush to your joggers or that big graphics T-shirt you wear all the time to feel comfortable at home. For the men, you can simply wear a well fitted t shirt tucked in with slacks, and loafer shoes to compliment the look. For ladies, it can be a bomber jacket on a gown and a pair of sneakers or boots. You'll look completely informal. At the same time, you've shown you care so much about your appearance. 📌 Whenever you're caught between being overdressed or dressing casually choose the overdressed look. You can easily tweak a few things to look less formal, but, there's nothing you can do to make a really casual or sloppy outfit look formal without taking a trip back home. I hope you get the point? When it's time to dress, I have to think. I have to envision myself in a certain outfit. The night before, when I go to bed, I close my eyes and start thinking about the outfit I'm going to wear tomorrow: all the colors, the fabrics, how it's going to look. It's about putting the whole thing together. The detail is as important as the essential is. When it is inadequate, it destroys the whole outfit. Shoes make an outfit; they're like rims for a car. You can throw on a crazy shirt and crazy pants but you add those shoes - done. The most important thing to do is not over complicate things. When you're trying to put an outfit together, wear something easy wearing. If a great outfit gets you one step closer to feeling good about yourself, then it's worth every penny.

Question: What’s your definition of outdated outfits❓ Answer: Outdated clothes are typically items that were very popular at a point but faded away over time. When you wear them now, it will remind people of the time they were in season. 😢 Example: The long top, leggings and tummy belt combo. ❌ Anybody wearing that ensemble now will come across as outdated. Another example: Pointed-toe shoes are timeless, whereas rounded-toe shoes are considered dated.
