#Throwback to our 2024 ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit where Rutger Uil from The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Guido Tosolin from Applus+ IDIADA shared their insights on virtual tire development. They introduced a new method for parallel tire and chassis development, using virtual tire models and real-time vehicle simulations in a driver-in-loop simulator. This approach includes three tuning loops during virtual development, enhancing vehicle dynamics and facilitating key chassis trade-offs.
