"As a founder, you have a unique advantage: you ARE the brand." In my latest episode of SaaS Founder Stories, I had a fantastic chat with Daivik Goel, founder of Intrepid about the power of relationships in the early stages of a startup. One key takeaway? When you’re a founder talking directly to potential customers, partners, or investors, you bring authenticity and direct impact that larger companies can’t replicate. Early-stage startups have the unique ability to build deep, meaningful relationships with customers. It’s not just about selling—it's about connecting, learning, and growing together. If you’re a founder, don’t underestimate the power of showing up personally. Your ability to get close to your customers, understand their needs, and adapt quickly is your secret weapon. 🎧 Check out the full episode here to learn how Daivik is leveraging this advantage: https://lnkd.in/gBkYeWCW #SaaSFounderStories #StartupAdvice #FounderPower #Relationships #BusinessGrowth #Entrepreneurship

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆? Welcome to our series 100 Business Mistakes Founders Should Avoid, as we discuss another mistake : 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Dear Founders! In one of the Shark Tank episodes, a founder repeatedly tried to drive the conversation away from the sharks' questions by overloading them with irrelevant facts and details. 🚩𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴: As soon as the pitch began, the contestant started to put aside the questions asked by the sharks and wanted to share his side of the story first. He imparted them with details he thought were important, trying to control the narrative to his advantage. What was the result? The sharks started getting annoyed and losing interest. 🚩𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴: • Sharing what you come prepared for, rather than answering the questions of Investors. • Making simple questions complicated by oversharing or explaining irrelevant information. 🧩 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: • Investors appreciate transparency and concise answers. • Excessive facts or unnecessary details only raise concerns about your authenticity and intentions. 👉 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: Watch how steering the conversation off course cost this founder a deal: Check out the episode here: https://lnkd.in/dQbbqHbR (11:07 Onwards) 🔑 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀: • Keep your conversations short & crisp. • Discuss only what they wish to know, Don’t anticipate in advance. • Answer questions with facts and authenticity to build trust.
