Gratitude is a Universal Language. Whatever we are offered we should accept with joy. Gratitude has become a part of my life, both professional or personal. As I reflect on the last five years, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey I've been on. The past three years have been particularly transformative as I've had the privilege to explore new places, cultures, and perspectives through travel. From breathtaking landscapes to meaningful encounters with diverse communities, each adventure has left an indelible mark on my personal and professional growth. The lessons learned from stepping out of my comfort zone have been invaluable. Travel is a powerful teacher, and I feel fortunate to have embraced the world with open arms. I want to express my deepest appreciation for the opportunities that have come my way, the people I've met, and the experiences that have shaped me. I am especially grateful for the people I have encountered, worked with, connected with through fellowships, business partners and those I have yet to meet. You have elevated my life. First business class to Europe at 35. My son's first at age 2. Can you tell the difference between our excitement? 😆 Moments like these get me thinking.. Are we making sure our families have a better life than we did? Is it our responsibility to level up? For me, it’s a no-brainer. Last year, we ticked off a big first as a family, business class to Europe. It’s one of those milestones that hits home, even if my son didn’t quite appreciate the extra legroom or the fancy meals as much as I did! But that’s the joy of it, creating those moments and opportunities, even if they’re more interested in their snacks than the experience. Parents, you know what I mean 😂 Are you giving yourself enough reasons to do well? Personally, I like to have hundreds of reasons to keep pushing forward 💪🏻. Every milestone is a reminder of why we work hard and push forward, not just for ourselves, but for the ones we care about. Grateful for the chance to provide these moments, and looking forward to what’s next on the list of firsts. Thanks, Tara Turkington, for this gift to join your vacation group. Yes, relationships are a business and a big business. Trust the spirit. Trust your gut. Trust your God. When opportunity calls will you answer the call? There is a law of sowing and reaping as we plant the positive thought seeds of your desire you will always reap much more. As a business person who speaks and consults with my clients, I often share the benefits of relationships. We are all in this business, and it only took me the first 20 years to learn the hard way. But this last 20, I am getting it and looking forward to the next 20 years. This trip was not on my radar when I left home, but it materialized from IRON SHARPENING IRON at WPO. An invitation was made, and I always say YES to travel. Just remember, Big business is born out of the seeds of relationships. You don’t believe me? Just check it out when you either win or lose another pursuit. I can connect the dots as I look back over my major wins in life and business. 💙 There are moments that truly touch the soul, and this was one of them. Recently, the TraceWorthy team welcomed a very special visitor—Cevrina, the mother of our beloved Founder. Although our Founder has been managing the company from abroad for most of the year, Cevrina travelled all the way from Australia to personally express her gratitude to the TraceWorthy team for holding the fort and taking care of her daughter and the company. The visit was filled with an overwhelming display of mutual appreciation and genuine warmth. The team, deeply moved by Cevrina’s gesture, showered her with gifts, bringing tears of joy to everyone present. In return, she presented gifts from Australia and treated the entire team, including the housekeeping staff, to a heartfelt lunch outing. There were shared laughs and even a few joyful tears during a surprise video call with our Founder, making it a truly unforgettable day. This visit was more than just a gesture of thanks. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of trust, loyalty, and authentic relationships. Celebrating 🎉 The new ME ! For the past 15 years, my journey as a serial entrepreneur has been nothing short of transformative. Having built, managed, and invested in over 20 companies, my career has spanned multiple industries and seen significant successes. However, my latest venture marks the most profound shift yet—from the concrete jungles of modern hospitality to the fertile grounds of rural hospitality and tourism. This transition from building high-end urban projects to pioneering rural ventures has been driven by a deep-seated passion and the realization of true community impact. Leaving behind a prestigious corporate position wasn’t an easy decision. Trading in tailored suits for a farmer's hat, and spending my days immersed between farms, packhouses, and food distribution centers, is a significant departure from the corporate boardrooms I once frequented. Several factors catalyzed this bold move, which I will delve into in future discussions. What truly matters and needs sharing now is the raw transparency of my journey. I have come to understand that there is no shame in this redirection of my career path; rather, it is something worthy of celebration. This self-awareness has given me a unique perspective, driven by a genuine desire to create meaningful contributions to both my community and my passions. Witnessing firsthand the positive impact on rural areas has been nothing short of transformational. Embracing the simplicity and authenticity of rural life has unlocked a more profound purpose, redefining my entrepreneurial spirit. Developing rural hospitality projects and promoting rural tourism isn’t just about business; it’s about fostering sustainable development and nurturing the essence of community. In essence, this shift goes beyond the superficial markers of success. It speaks to a deeper, more fulfilling journey—one where meaningful contributions towards community and personal passions intersect. This new chapter promises not only to enrich the rural landscapes but also to enrich my own understanding of impactful entrepreneurship. From Stage Fear to Stage Mastery: My Journey to Becoming Fearless 🎤 Recently I visited Radisson Blu for an event, standing on stage for the first time, my heart was pounding, and my mind was racing with "what ifs." The fear of judgment and failure was overwhelming. I almost let it hold me back. But then I remembered — growth only happens when you step outside your comfort zone. With shaky hands and a racing heart, I took the plunge. The spotlight felt like an interrogation light at first, but then something incredible happened. The more I spoke, the more I realized I wasn’t just fighting stage fear; I was embracing the opportunity to connect, inspire, and share my journey. By the end of my talk, the fear that had once gripped me was nowhere to be found. In its place was a newfound confidence, a sense of purpose, and a realization that the stage wasn’t a place to fear — it was a platform to elevate others and myself.
