JOB DESCRIPTION =>Plant Inspection (Knowledgeable with API 510, API 570, API 653, and the minimum regulatory requirements for pressure equipment, preferably with API Certifications).  =>Developed, reviewed and executed area inspection plans to ensure the integrity and reliability of the plant assets. =>Review Material test certificates/QA dossier submitted by the vendor, inspected by TPIA, and give dispatch clearance. =>Skilled in various types of equipment and degradation mechanisms for various process units. =>Corrosion Study and Failure Investigation. NDT (Conventional and advanced). =>Fully aware and Qualified in the following Individual Certification Programs: =>API 580 - Risk-Based Inspection Professional (Preferable). =>Additional experience/ certification in Corrosion Control & Inspection/Welding =>Responsible for looking after overall corrosion and inspection-related activities of static equipment and piping. =>Carrying out stream and Internal/external inspection of static equipment and piping =>Advise repair techniques, materials selection, welding procedures, inspection, and testing requirements. =>Identification of sections of static equipment and piping susceptible to aggravated corrosion through dead legs, injection points, mixing points, corrosion under insulations (CUI), and corrosion loops. =>Prepare data to implement and update the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance plant integrity and Reliability to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance cost, and plant availability. =>Perform RBI facilitation & and optimization of refinery static equipment, Tanks, and piping using the “Meridium” APM platform(GE) =>Analyze technical data, drawings, Equipment documents, and processes by working with engineering, maintenance, operations, and project teams & and partners. =>Prepare RBI data sheets, corrosion loop, established IOW limits, identified acting damage mechanism & and defined failure modes. =>Ensure the correctness of data of RBI templates, and created tools in Excel to expedite the process. =>Create Inspection plan based on RBI recommendation & and revised equipment frequency as per RBI analysis in Meridium. =>Review final risk evaluation with plant personnel and conduct estimated cost savings. =>Interface with the IT team for technical support such as task mapping, tag creation/elimination, and error identification. =>Review inspection records/reports, incorporate corrosion findings, and release reports in Meridium. =>Conduct fitness for service (FFS) evaluations for equipment which have discontinuities and decide to retire equipment or take remedial measures for safe and reliable operation.
