It is amazing to think that many years ago, we would still buy local travel guides from bookstores, touching the words and pictures with our hands, carefully pondering them, and inadvertently mouthing the important arrangements, hoping to remember them all. With the development of short videos, we can now easily experience the beauty of our destinations through screens, feeling as if we are right there. As consumer mindsets have evolved, people's desires have become more rational, and they know exactly what they want. Faced with more personalized, unique experiences that integrate local culture, consumers are more willing to spend their money generously. Along with this development in product concepts by suppliers, the tastes of consumer has been evolved. Social media channels of National Tourism have seized this opportunity, boldly expanding their choice of content themes, collaborating with creative content creators and influencers who bring cultural value and traffic. The key point here is: showcasing the unique cultural confidence and value of cities or countries through more engaging micro-films and short videos, presenting them in an immersive way to the market! In this process, culture and tourism are no longer just about sightseeing but have become a profound cultural exchange and a resonance of the soul. Falling for Autumn in Switzerland, with its unique natural scenery and cultural heritage, not only provides visual enjoyment for tourists but also offers a spiritual cleansing. This immersive experience turns every journey into a new adventure of self-discovery and exploration of the world.

This clip produced by Switzerland Tourism is something our government, the Nepal Tourism Board - NTB, the industry leaders and all Nepalese tourism stakeholders should really learn from. I have always emphasized on the fact that, in the modern era the power of films to promote a destination should really not be underestimated. Switzerland Tourism clearly understands this, having produced this masterpiece on "Swiss Autumn" featuring Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen and Roger Federer. While we witness such brilliant campaigns from the other side of the world, we’re missing the opportunity to attract major Hollywood projects that are showing interest in Nepal and its stunning landscapes. A recent example is one Hollywood production that recreated Nepal in Australia, spending a massive budget instead of actually filming here. Nepal is in no way inferior to Switzerland in terms of natural beauty, and more so in many other areas. The issue doesn’t lie in what Nepal has to offer, but in our inability to learn from the successful examples being set across the globe. It's high time we learn from our mistakes and encourage filmmakers from around the world by offering incentives and supporting them with the right resources to shoot here—rather than viewing it as a one-time opportunity to extract as much money as possible. Films, documentaries, and advertisements like these should be seen as long-term investments that leave lasting impacts, attracting travelers for years to come. Going to the theatre with my colleagues last week was incredible. During the performance, we had the opportunity to observe how the actors skillfully conveyed emotions, articulated their lines, and engaged with the audience. It was fascinating to see their stage presence and how they captured everyone's attention. One thing that really stood out to me was how theater performances are live events, which means unexpected situations can arise. Just like in our #ITprojects, where we often encounter unforeseen challenges, the actors in the theater had to adapt and handle these situations with grace and professionalism. Moreover, the #attentiontodetail in theater productions is simply remarkable. Every aspect, from the set design to the costumes, is meticulously crafted to create a seamless and immersive experience for the audience. It reminded me of the importance of paying attention to even the smallest details in our own projects to deliver a high-quality end result. Theater production truly showcases the power of #collaboration. It requires an extensive network of professionals, including actors, directors, set designers, costume designers, and more, working together to bring a production to life. The latest cruise ship trend, Drag Queen residency, has been reported in Cruise Critic. This trend gained additional momentum when Scarlet Lady, the first ship in Virgin Voyages fleet, announced that Drag Queens will take up residence at the ship's Razzle Dazzle restaurant during a fun brunch experience.   TBI worked with a talented group of Drag Queens during our New Years Eve production shown in the UK on ITV. The Barbie themed act received huge acclaim. Featuring Kitty Scott-Claus, Baga Chipz, Cheryl Hole, Tayce.    TBI’s advice is that Creative Director and Show Producers should start to follow some guidelines to get the best from this genre of performance. It starts with drag, but the show can be much more than that:   1) First impressions, allow ample hair and make-up and hair prep. 2) Wardrobe, costume changes add glamour and interest. 3) Story, create a story arc for the performance. 4) Individualism, each artist is unique, build show stopping moments where each performer has the chance to shine. 5) Comedy, including sarcasm, is a must. 6)Variety counts, spoken word, music, and dance.
