With all formats of input/output to generative AI models out there already, what a delight it would be to have Peter Drury and Martin Tyler's commentary in full flow, barring no script, which otherwise gets repetitive and predictable the more matches you play 😬 💭 Food for thought: The business looks quite straightforward here - 1️⃣ Gamers (Users): will be thrilled, and would favourably consider extra price for this. There’s a high overlap in FIFA-gamers and football fans and we would love to have the game’s best poets-broadcasters have no definite script for commentary in the game - and enthral us with the context of the match being played. I don't need to delve into how important commentary is in Football (or Sports in general). 2️⃣ EA Sports: 🔹 Cost = R&D cost (fixed) + Proceeds to the commentators who’ll be featured in this feature (Recurring/Fixed/Contract). 🔹 Revenue: Users are likely to pay extra for this OR if that is already accounted in the total price of the upcoming version. 🔹 Long term gain: Establish an edge over global rivals in Konami Digital Entertainment's Pro Evolution Soccer (eFootball* 😵). 🔹 Scaling ahead: Release across games - NBA 2K, Madden NFL, F1, UFC. 3️⃣ Commentators: They have the moat, and they’re the ones raking the big fan-following and money here.
