This years edition of the App Promotion Summit #London, hosted by James Cooper and his Team was another highlight for the mobile app ecosystem. With the Brewery there was a wonderful location, perfectly equipped to facilitate such an event and the whole organization on site went smooth and perfect.
The first half of the day was hosted by the one and only Hannah Parvaz, who is not only bringing know-how and context to the role as MC but also tons of charm and charisma to engage the audience.
As with every great conference, the success is in a healthy balance between highly valuable keynotes and sessions as well as the time in between to mingle, discuss and chat with other participants and guests. Reinforcing and nurturing existing relationships as well as making new connections.
Before diving into my learnings and take-aways from the sessions that I attended I want to thank a bunch of people for having wonderful conversations with them - so thank you Peggy Anne Salz, happy that we finally made it in person! Thanx to Thomas Kriebernegg, always a pleasure to reconnect with a fellow Austrian abroad - and thanx for connecting me with Max Kamenkov the CEO of SplitMetrics, was great that we met! Big up to Bernhard Borchardt from Arise - this time we will make sure, that the follow up works ;-) Cheers to Mick Rigby - congrats on what you were building with Yodel over the last +16 years, it is amazing! I’ll write more later about the session from Steven Toy, CEO of Memrise - super cool to chat with you and your CPO Jim Veevaert later! We will talk soon. Wonderful that I had a chance to connect with James Cooper, Rowena Suyat and Nayden Tafradzhiyski - when in Vienna Nayden, let me know and share some insider tips with you. I really enjoyed and appreciated the very valuable chat with Hendrik Haandrikman from RevenueCat, we have to follow up on that. Also cheers to Ryan J Thorpe, amazing what you are building in your portfolio. Big up to Noam Yasour and your partner, so excited to learn what you will build with 44pixels. Feeling lucky that I learned about the different reasons for snoring and how to deal with it from Emma Fearon - cool stuff that you are building. And thanx for the good conversation with Will Page, former Chief Economist at Spotify and author of Pivot! Good chat about BizDev and Sales with Alexandre Pham - I learned a bunch from that, thank you. And thanx to Ian Newfeld from Appnomix, feels like this was not the last conversation we had - talk soon.
So one can see how incredibly valuable a well planned participation in such an event can be and I realize that I have to pack all my insights into another post … stay tuned, don’t miss out on that one.
Wouldn't want to miss it!
