Indians are witnessing the rise of robots in various sectors, from Bengaluru's first robot restaurant in 2019 to viral videos of robots serving ice golas in Ahmedabad. Despite slow adoption, the Indian hospitality industry is now embracing automation to enhance guest experiences. Now, Alphadroid Is Reinventing The Indian Hospitality Space With Its Autonomous Robot, Founded in 2023 by Sanjeev Kumar. In India alone, the startup aims to deploy a total of 150 robots by the end of 2024. Alphadroid plans to introduce its products to the UK market in the coming months. Happy to share new findings on #robotbarista. Our findings challenge common perceptions about robotic service. While robotic services are often seen as emotionally disconnected due to the lack of human touch, they actually cater well to introverted consumers. Contrary to the belief that robotic service is merely a cost-saving measure compromising on full service, it is surprisingly well-received by consumers who prefer less overbearing service. These insights highlight the everchanging consumer attitudes towards technology in service roles. Welcome to #manufacturig_Monday 17 by Aakash Patel Here is the video by Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) This is the #Hyundai 's new electric-vehicle plant in #Singapore, robotic arms assemble #cars in specialized cells while #robotdog monitor the procedure. It is a new method of automaking taking place in smaller, more flexible #microfactories. Alpesh Patel , Chief Innovation Officer at Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore says "It is designed to change the way cars are produced, as traditionally car manufacturing takes a big land, but this #microfactory is build in Singapore (Dense and very #expensive city)". This new factory is "Cell-based model" in which more #automation is possible than traditional #assemblyline, moreover this factory is more than 50% automized. Tesla's #gigafactory in #Austin, #Texas is 10,000,000 sq.ft big and produces around 2,50,000 vehicles a year. On the other hand Hyundai's new microfactory is 9,35,000 sq.ft big and can produce around 30,000 cars a year. Comparing the ratios of both the #factories area vise gigafactory is 10 times bigger but produces only 8 times more car than Hyundai's factory. Let me throw some light on number of workers and #automatization of this #microfactory. ONLY AND ONLY 100 #workers are required to produce 30,000 cars a year LITERALLY! This new #smartfactory is equipped with #AGV, #exoskeleton, #smartglasses, of course #robotics 😂 and many more #tech. There are #robotdog by Boston Dynamics for overall factory safety checks, #qualityinspection as it is aided with #AI camera it can monitor and analyze assemblies. There are #robots by HYUNDAI WIA. Some of the companies making robodogs for #manufacturing are Boston Dynamics, ANYbotics. There are #AGVs Automated guided vehicles for logistics inside the factory as well as for transporting cars under manufacturing from one cell to another. Some of the AGV companies are Kivnon, OTTO Motors by Rockwell Automation, Locus Robotics, ex9, etc. Workers are seemed to be equipped with #exoskeleton and #smartglasses also. Exoskeleton aid the #workers in lifting heavy weights, walking. Some companies making exoskeleton for workers are SUITX by Ottobock, German Bionic, Skelex, etc. #AR #VR enhanced Smart glasses help the #manufacturing workers to digitize manufacturing processes, read #manuals, seek guidance.
