An exciting read to start my day. One because it's cancer related but solution oriented. Two because it's by a 14 year old!!! which brings out the aspect that anyone can provide solutions. Three, the use of #technology in bringing this invention to life is interesting. Four, there's a lot of engineering involved, this reminds me of the #multidisciplinaryapproach we talk about. That health is better when more people are involved to find solutions. MTS [Melanoma Treating Soap] is a compound based bar of soap and it's charged with different cancer fighting chemicals. The main one being this agent called Imidazoquinoline. The soap, works by using a compound that helps revive dendritic cells, which are killed by cancer cells. Once the dendritic cells are revived, they are able to then fight against the cancer cells.
