Ten years ago, I was completing my thesis for my MBA, exploring the application of Lean Startup in the social impact sector. Through my research, the Flourishing Startup Method (FSM) emerged. While Lean Startup is an excellent process, my research revealed that there were context gaps supporting the methodology, which changed how impact entrepreneurs were applying it in practice. Today, FSM describes the context required to enable the successful application of Lean Startup in the design of flourishing business models. These are business models that enable the possibility for business to support human and all other life to flourishing on our beautiful and precious planet. #Startup moves fast, #corporation moves slow. One key area where startups excel over corporations is in the speed of AI adoption. Startups leverage this speed as a competitive advantage in decision-making, execution and pivoting. They face fewer burdens and reputational risks compared to corporations. 🚀 In contrast, corporations often take longer to adopt new technologies like AI due to the need for a deep understanding of the technology’s fundamentals, risks, privacy implications, safety measures, and overall impact. Thorough due diligence and assessments are crucial for their responsible technology adoption. 🏢 When it comes to the adoption of AI, particularly in genAI/Open AI, there’s a significant reason why some corporations are hesitant to subscribe. This reason, through my firsthand experience and also shared from my direct interactions with decision-makers, is that “GenAI is highly subsidized now. What an energy boost for our startup ! ... I am thrilled to share about participating in the Creatures Academy in #Brussels. So great to meet like-minded entrepreneurs and making new connections with local tech companies that are entering the global game. It was an exhilarating experience filled with innovation, collaboration, and impactful problem-solving. Key Highlights: 1. I had the privilege to contribute to a team that was dedicated to creating practical and sustainable solutions. 2.
