📄 The first factsheet from the SESA Project Sustainable Energy Solutions Catalogue is dedicated to #emobility. 🚘 Sustainable #electricmobility (e-mobility) encompasses a set of solutions in which innovative #electricvehicle technologies and business models are combined to improve mobility services in cities, periurban and rural areas. Though e-mobility solutions are only recently emerging in 🌍 #Africa they are likely to play a key role in the transition to #sustainable and inclusive mobility in the region. 🔍 The factsheet focuses on light electric vehicles (#EVs) such as e-motorcycles, e-tuk-tuks or tricycles, e-bicycles, and e-cargo bikes. These are the most common types of EVs deployed in African urban and rural areas, where 2- and 3-wheeled vehicles represent an important means of #transport. 🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 I am thrilled to announce that our research project has been chosen as one of the top 6 participants in the "Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Sustainable Yachting Technology Award" introduced by The Monaco Energy Boat Challenge and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, held at the Yacht Club de Monaco. The main objective of this award is to introduce innovations that align with the principles of sustainability, environmentally responsible technologies, emission reduction, and energy efficiency applicable to the yachting sector. Our innovation involves producing hydroxy gas (HHO) using an advanced approach to electrolyzing with a pulse width modulation (PWM) device applied to a series of dry, small-gap plates. This method improves production rates and reduces power consumption. HHO gas is introduced as a secondary fuel in gasoline engines, which increases engine efficiency and performance while reducing emissions. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Dr. Mohamed Morsy El-Gohary, President of Borg Al Arab Technological University, for his invaluable supervision of the project. I also want to extend my sincere thanks to the team members for their collaboration and hard work. Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Abdo Khalil Mohamed Abd El-Azeem mohamed wagdy Youssef Sherif Ahmed Sobhy See you in Monaco next year! 💙 🛥 "Green Hydrogen for a Green Future" 💚💧 #ENERGYBOATCHALLENGE #RenewableEnergy #Hydrogen #GreenFuture #Innovation #CleanEnergy #GreenHydrogen

Next week I will attend International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin. Will you be there? I am looking forward to three days full of networking, interesting keynotes and panel discussions about the newest trends in the hospitality sector as well as a lot of meetings to present our sustainable solutions for hotels. If you also want to know more about: 🔥 How heating and cooling of buildings with renewable energy from the sewer works? 💧 How Ecowaterjet by rabmer reduces the waterflow in showers down to 6,5 liters/min. while keeping the showering comfort for the guests at 12 liters/min? 🌱 How we optimize existing ventilation systems to recover 100% energy? 💧 Why you should install AQUABION® Kalk- und Korrosionsschutz to prevent pipe corrosion and calc damage? 🛢️ How you can reduce grease and odor in grease separator and sewers? Who else will be in Berlin next week? Will be great to see you there. #Sustainability #Hospitality #Greentech #Solutions #RabmerGruppe #IHIF2024

🔔𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲. Deep-renovation solutions developed by EU-funded projects. To achieve 2050 targets, buildings’ energy needs must be reduced massively to improve their performance in line with the Energy Efficiency First Principle. To that end, current #buildings need to transform into energy-efficient buildings, with a circular approach and a reduction of whole life-cycle carbon. But they also have to better answer occupants' needs and account for social inclusion🏗 🏢 When: 24th September 📍 Where: Luxembourg 🔗👉 https://lnkd.in/esmrB5uC Cleantech Bulgaria, ASRO - Romanian Standards Association, Romania Green Building Council, Bulgarian Institute for Standardization (BDS), CRISCON, AB Corporation, Technical University of Sofia and ESTLCA #Afcos, #HorizonEurope, #standardisation, #constructionmaterials, #sustainability, #innovation, #greentech, #EUInnovation, #HADEA #circulareconomy #climatesolution

The journey towards Net Zero is complex and requires a multi-faceted approach. Now is the time to deploy available and affordable technologies, along with comprehensive advisory and management solutions. Our partnership with MB Shipbrokers offers the maritime industry a pioneering, turnkey solution that drives viable decarbonisation investments. According to Lloyd’s Register Engine Retrofit report, approximately 13,000 of the largest merchant vessels from the current global fleet are expected to remain in service by 2030, making them prime candidates for retrofitting with advanced technologies. Investing in decarbonisation not only offers a competitive edge but ensures vessels meet the highest standards of energy efficiency and compliance, contributing to a sustainable maritime industry.
𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 On 29 August Synergy Marine Group hosted a landmark event in Dubai which brought together leading maritime executives, key regional stakeholders and industry innovators in order further to explore and map out the future of maritime sustainability. The gathering focused on energy efficiency, cutting-edge technology and the vital role of seafarers in this accelerating transition, and was held in partnership with Synergy's decarbonisation arm AZOLLA and MB Shipbrokers of Copenhagen. The event featured discussions led by MB Shipbrokers' Head of Energy Transition, Olof Klintholm, Synergy’s Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Hoad, and Azolla’s Business Head, Kiran Shet. The sessions delved into the challenges and opportunities of retrofitting existing vessels with green technologies. While retrofitting offers significant potential, it also presents complex design considerations, high costs, and evolving regulations, necessitating careful assessment. Azolla’s solutions are designed to address all issues directly, providing both shipowners and operators with a clear pathway to sustainable operations. Our decarbonisation strategies cater for both new builds and retrofits, ensuring that each vessel meets the highest standards of energy efficiency. These solutions go beyond regulatory compliance : they represent a strategic investment, positioning our clients to gain a competitive edge as the industry transitions to cleaner energy. Our CEO of Marine Services and Corporate Functions, Mathavan Subbiah, emphasised “The journey toward decarbonising global supply chains in shipping has advanced significantly, and today we are actively implementing practical solutions to achieve both immediate emission reductions and long-term sustainability. Early adopters play a crucial role in driving positive change, and the success of this conference—evident from the delegates' enthusiasm and feedback—demonstrates the collective effort required and being made to navigate our sector toward net-zero emissions.” #WeAreSynergy #Decarbonisation #Sustainability #EnergyEfficency #EnergyTransition #ShippingIndustry #ClimateAction #NetZero
