What Did I Learn? 🌟 Hi there! As I mentioned in my last post, I’m currently interning in UI/UX design. So far, I’ve completed two tasks for my internship and 2 more tasks to go. While it's been a valuable experience, it has also made it challenging to focus on my agency tasks. Despite this, I’ve been consuming content related to my agency by listening to sales calls, analyzing them, and taking detailed notes. Additionally, I’ve been crafting effective scripts to pitch to upcoming clients. The past two days have been more about executing tasks than learning new concepts. However, every small step is contributing to my overall growth. Keep following my journey—I’ll be posting updates frequently. Let’s connect, share our thoughts, and support each other. Hello LinkedIn fam! As part of my continuous commitment to build in public during my Product Design (UI/UX) internship with SkillHat , I thought I should do something a little out of the box. Last week, all internees were given an assignment to conduct user research interviews. I posted a google form link here on LinkedIn last week, and three people graciously opted to help me. I can’t mention them for privacy’s sake, but I am immensely grateful to them for taking time out of their busy schedule to do this with me. In class, we were taught that the purpose of user interviews include the following: - To understand Pain-Points & Challenges - To understand User Behaviour - To understand Motivation - To be able to build a User Persona After conducting these interviews, they gave me better insights into understanding all of the above, and I’m so glad I did it! Furthermore, we were also taught that research ethics include the following: - Keep users information confidential - Always allow them to opt-in - Be transparent with what you will do with their information - Respect people's time - Create an easy feedback loop All of these have been adhered to, and this is why their faces and/or names aren’t visible in this video, and voices have been muted and sound replaced with a background song. I’m excited at the prospects of all I’m going to learn during this new phase of my life. Just getting started with Internship Program at MRS Technologies as a UI UX Design Intern. If I had to explain the 1st day experience shortly it would be "Just Mind-blowing and overwhelming at the same time" So much effort was put into the program that 1st day had so much for us, I wonder what's about to come for us next. There were so much things that learned on the 1st day but If I had to discuss the one of the learnings that was about the importance of writing online, and why it's so important in this era. Here is how this goes and what I think and what learned so far: Why are we so afraid of writing online? If I were to ask this question to myself a few days back, answer would have been "What other would say about my work or what I write?". ✨Maybe the reason would be same for many of you as well that maybe you are afraid that work is not good enough and so on, little monkey in the head is telling you a lot of things to stop you!! ✨But what my 1 line answer to this fear is " Why does it matter what others will say? because these other are not even able to think about writing or posting online, but you are!" This already makes a huge difference between doing and thinking(just thinking). p.s what can possibly go wrong? --> Content was not good? it's fine I will improve --> Work was not Top Notch? fine people are at least noticing my progress - --> Others are laughing? what's the problem, they always do so. Thing is it's a whole journey not a single end product, so we have to embrace the journey and take the responsibility of our action at the end. #mrs #mrstechnology #mrsintern
