Where to start when creating shoot notes?

- The good news when creating our shoot notes is we don't have to start from scratch. We're going to go back to that shot list and we're going to convert them into shoot notes. This way we have exactly the shot list everyone else has, but we're going to include fields for our notes. So first, we want to put all of our core information about our production on top. What's the shot list? We need to put our project name, our project title, our producers, the shoot day, maybe you're doing one per day or however you're going to do it; your director, your director photography. We want to include our recording formats, okay, and cameras, and locations. Put all that core information right up top so it's easily seen and referenceable. Then we want to include our script numbers, and scenes, and shot duration, and cameras in use, and our camera angles, all this information. Is this information starting to look familiar? Well…
