- [Instructor] Our goal is to understand what people need and deliver products and services that meet those needs in usable, useful, and valuable ways. There are many different ways to describe how we work. Some focus on the dimensions or facets of our work, some present models of our methods and processes, and some focus on our guiding principles. Gillian Crampton Smith and Bill Moggridge's book, "Designing Interactions," and Kevin Silver have identified the five dimensions of an interaction design language to describe the interactions between a person and a product. Words, or the content, should be easy to understand and written to effectively communicate information. Visual representations include diagrams, charts, icons, illustrations, and other graphics.
