Using a stencil to create a sitemap
- [Instructor] The site map is a classic information architecture diagram. It happens at an early part of the process and it's a different way of mapping content. In the case of the site map, we're looking to map our content in such a way that the web user would be able to navigate it. It's a way to look at the big picture of a website and sometimes also called a blueprint. Let's get started. We're going to use one of our stencils here. One of the ones that I included called web flow. I put it in this resources folder, there it is web flow and very easy to get started with stencils, you don't need to use each piece for exactly what it says, but I do like the color coding here so I'm going to take advantage of that and click at my homepage. Almost all websites need a homepage because you need somewhere to land and site maps almost always have them top middle. So we have a homepage and I know we're going to need…
