Mind mapping with the Diagram tool

- [Instructor] Mind mapping is a quick and easy way to get your ideas down onto paper and diagram them. OmniGraffle has a great tool for this. It's called the diagram tool and you can see its shortcut is D. I'm going to double click it for persistent use, but I just point that out because I'll be moving back and forth between the diagram tool and the selection tool, and the keyboard shortcuts D and V are very useful for this. So with the diagram tool, my first click just gets me a simple shape with a word and then another click connects them and that's exactly how the diagram tool works. And then if I go back to my selection tool, I can start to put the proper words in them. At the center of our mind map is the idea of the archive. What does that mean to people? And we know we're dealing with a lot of media. But very quick and easy we start to map out what we think is relevant for this project. And there's no real rules to…
