From the course: Marketing Tools: Social Media

Discover the value of Zoho

- [Instructor] In this chapter of the course, we're going to talk about fully-fledged multipurpose social media management suites. So third party tools that you can use to manage multiple social networks at once. The first one that I want to talk about is Zoho. Zoho is actually a newcomer to my list here in this course but it's not a new product. It's been around since the early 2000s but it has finally cemented itself as one of the top players in the game. So let's take a look. If we go up here to the Products dropdown, you'll notice that they have a number of different solutions that come part of the package. Really, all of these applications that we're going to look at have evolved from simply managing your social media to doing all sorts of different types of marketing online to doing sales and lead generation, and just really full-fledged marketing suites. So we can go over here to the marketing section. You'll notice all of the different marketing features it offers. Obviously we have social, the all-in-one social media management software. But we can do email campaigns right here from within Zoho. We can run surveys, we can build websites. All sorts of different things. We can do automation. But if we were to just click on say, Social, you'll notice that it kind of gives us some information and we could sign up to get started. There is a free trial. And if you scroll down, it kind of gives you some more information about what type of social media marketing solutions they have. And I will tell you that this is very similar to Hootsuite and Sprout Social, these other apps that we're going to look at. One of the best ways to find out what is actually offered is to go to Pricing. Because all of these other links, and we'll see them in the other tools as well, they're obviously trying to sell us, and so it can be a little kind of salesy and you're not really sure what you're looking at in terms of value. However, on the Pricing page, we can always see exactly what is offered. So here for Zoho, one of the things that I really like about it is this package right here. $10 a month. Wait until you see the price of Hootsuite later on in the course. This is where a lot of these applications, the pricing tier that they start it. With this $10 a month, we can have nine channels. So you can have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, all for $10 a month. So instead of going to Facebook.com and managing it, you can do it here on Zoho, Twitter, on Zoho. All of that sort of thing. If we look at the kind of the advanced tiers, we'll scroll down a little bit here. You'll notice that this list at the bottom is where we have some different features. So I recommend for really all of these tools, but especially here for Zoho, trying the $10 a month version. And then you'll kind of start to get an idea of what you may need additionally, as you use the tool, and you can look in here and see if those features that you're looking for are here. Obviously you're going to get a lot deeper analytics, a lot more automation and that sort of thing. But Zoho, it has been a great product for a long time. It's shown that it's still willing to innovate and continue to grow. Its pricing tier is really amazing nowadays. So I really think this is a great option for businesses that are really looking for that first social media management platform, haven't tried anything else yet. Go ahead and give Zoho a shot. There's a free trial. You'll notice, 15-day free trial, as well as there are free trials with the other tools as well. So with all of these tools, definitely try them out before you make any financial commitments first.
