Let's talk about what you should know before taking this course. First and foremost, this course is geared towards Microsoft MAUI developers for both Android and iOS. Native developers will also benefit from many of the concepts presented here, though the examples are not in Objective-C, Swift, Java, or Kotlin. For MAUI mobile developers, you should know the basics of how to get an app compiled and running in a simulator or emulator. This course was recorded on a Mac. If you do not have access to a Mac, you can still do everything in this class other than the Core ML chapter. However, you will need to run the client Android project instead of the iOS one. No deep understanding of AI or machine learning is required, but it is helpful to understand some cases where machine learning is being used in the world today.
