Creating a construction detail
- [Instructor] This video, we're going to look at the process of creating a construction detail. Typically, a construction detail will include a live cut of the model that is embellished with 2D detail items that are placed on top of the view and are view-specific elements representing those things that you don't think are worth including in the model. So I'd like to refer to this as a hybrid detailing approach, and I'd like to demonstrate that approach to you now. So I'm going to work here in the cafe area and specifically create a small detail through this checkout counter here. So I'm going to go to my Section tool to start, and instead of a building section, I'm going to draw a detail section, and I'll just sort of click above the counter right about there, and then pull it straight down and click. And that will create this simple section cut that I'm going to start with. I'll click the Modify tool to cancel, and then double click the little blue call out circle to open up that…
