- [Narrator] Procreate is an ideal tool for hand lettering. With so many brush options available, the style possibilities are endless. There is no right way to letter in Procreate, but I can suggest a process that may help you along the way. First, let's take a look at turning on your drawing guides. Go under the Actions tool, select Canvas, turn on your Drawing Guides, edit your Drawing Guides if necessary, and then create a layer that you will use to sketch out your lettering for positioning. This will give you a guide to draw your letters. I've created this layer. It's given me the positioning of where I want things overall, but I still have work to do. The first thing to do is count how many words that you're working with. I have three words, "Make Art Everyday". So what I want to do is create three separate layers. One, two, three.
