Modify materials
- [Instructor] Now that we have our basic materials applied, we can go ahead an start to modify those to get exactly the look that we want. We can do this by editing the materials themselves. Let me show you how to do this. We're going to go ahead and start with the cap. As you can see, the cap of this bottle here has a material on it, which is called Hard Shiny Plastic Red. We can hop over to the Materials Panel and double click on that. This gives us the material attributes. For example, we have the type of material in this case it's plastic, but we don't have to have it as plastic. We can change it to, say, Diffuse or we can change it to Thin Film, which would completely change the look of it. But we do want to keep this at Plastic and then we can also change the color of this. The color that I'm looking for is a reddish orange. Let's go ahead and click on Diffuse. Let's go ahead and change the color.
