- A database helps you organize and prioritize insights to convert a qualified lead to a customer. I'll describe common elements in a database which are relevant for any size marketing or technology budget. A database is a collection of information and insights, such as from your website form, that can be accessed, managed, and updated. It allows you to input criteria and conduct a search to create a list of leads who meet those criteria.
