From the course: Illustrator 2023 Essential Training

Anchor display

- [Presenter] What you're looking at right now are some anchor points and line segments of a part, and don't worry. You're going to find out more about these later on. But what I do want to mention here is that I'm making one small change on my copy of Illustrator that you may want to do or may want to leave yours as is, but essentially it's to make your viewing experience easier. I'm going to access the preferences. The quickest way to do that is Command-K or Control-K on Windows, and I'm going to make a modification to the Selection and Anchor Display category here. And just on this slide, what I'm going to do is change the way the anchor points, handles, and bounding boxes display so they're going to be much, much bigger. I'm going to crank them up like so and you'll notice that when I come out of here, if I hit OK, that the handles are now much bigger. I'm only making this change because I know that a lot of people watch these movies on a mobile device such as a phone, and it will make it much easier for you to see. So if you make the change, that's entirely up to you, but I've only done it for your viewing comfort and you'll see that throughout the rest of the course.
