Manage fonts on mobile devices
- [Instructor] In recent years, mobile devices have become increasingly important tools for designers. Companies like Adobe have created mobile apps that work seamlessly with desktop applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. And now, Extensis has made it possible to use the same fonts on mobile devices as you do on your laptop or desktop computer environment. Now, there are a few important limitations to understand. First this process only works with Apple mobile devices like iPads and iPhones. Currently, there is no version of the Suitcase Fusion Mobile app for Android devices. Second, not all fonts are compatible with iOS, the operating system that runs on iPads and iPhones. You'll only be able to sync TrueType fonts and OpenType fonts with TrueType outlines. If I look at my main font library here in Suitcase, I can arrange my fonts by type, which makes it easier to know which ones will work on my iPhone.
