Copy and paste articulations and expressions
- [Instructor] When multiple parts need the same expression, smart shapes, and articulations, it's often faster to copy and paste them using Finale's Edit Filter. Let's look at how that can be used to copy and paste just the items needed. Okay, so I'm in the Paste Start file if you want to follow along. And let's click the arrow down here in the Page buttons and let's click that twice to get over to page three. Okay, so now that we have that set up you can see in the first line of this score this kind of complex group of dynamics and smart shapes and I don't want to have to individually put it on all these other staves. So let's go ahead and select those staves. And then I'm going to go to the Edit menu and I'm going to show you that we have this option for Use Filter.
