Recapture and redeploy

- Things will eventually wear out or just can't be reused anymore. So this is where recapture and redeploy comes into play. Companies design take back programs to get their goods back into their factories to be remanufactured and sent back out into the market. This is not the same as recycling, which we'll get to up next. This is remanufacturing where the parts are intentionally designed to be taken out and put back through the same production cycle or they're made into similar goods. Say you are a car manufacturer and you know that many of the parts of your cars can be easily reconditioned to go back into other cars. You set up a remanufacturing facility and offer to buy back old cars. You then break them down, take them out, and the reusable parts can then be resold and you can cash in.
