Overview of texturing

- [Instructor] Welcome to the chapter on texturing, sometimes refer to as surfacing or shading. This is the awesome way of adding color and defining the material of your 3D objects. There are two primary ways of doing this. First, you can generate your material procedurally by using the Shader editor in a combination of nodes and math to generate a beautiful final look, or you can unwrap your 3D object and paint right on the actual surface to generate an image texture. Whether you generate your final look by using the Shader editor nodes or by painting the texture, either way, it's going to create a beautiful looking 3D object. So, without further delay, let's get painting.
