- [Instructor] We're in the next stage of our office layout now for the next few videos. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called OfficeLayout_3.dwg. So make sure you download the appropriate drawing from the library to follow along with the next few videos. Now in this video we're going to be taking a look at the trim and the extend commands in AutoCAD to modify your drawings. And what we're going to do is we're going to be trimming and extending in this area here above the actual office. If you zoom in, you can see that we've got some planting and we've got a spline. There's a lot of horizontal lines here as well. And it's those lines we're going to be trimming and extending. These lines here represent a decking area and I want to extend these lines to the spline here to form a decking area outside the office for use by the staff for meetings, lunch breaks, et cetera to get some fresh air outside of the office.
