- [Narrator] We're staying in our new metal plate dot DWG file. And what we're going to take a look at now is using some annotative dimensions. Now we have touched on this a little bit already and I just want to make sure that you're kind of aware of the concept. It's a little bit of a head spin sometimes when you're dealing with annotative stuff. And I just want to make sure that you're aware of the workflow and the process so that you can go away and play around with it and use it more and more to your advantage when you're working in your AutoCAD drawings. So we're going to basically dimension up the side view here in the model tab. Now before we do that we always do a quick sanity check and that is we go to the view port where this view is going to be.
