- [Instructor] We're staying in our zero zero ground floor plan .dwg file. And as you can see, we're looking at the floor plan and we're in the model tab. If you look bottom left of your AutoCAD application window we are in the model tab. Now, this is where you work full size. So as I mentioned, this is a metric millimeters drawing. So do you remember when we checked out units earlier on in the course. We measured a known distance, didn't we? Or a known object? So that we knew which unit we were working in. So in the model space, the model tab we draw everything full size. So if I zoom in on, let's say a door swing like that. And I go to the home tab on the Ribbon utilities panel here. Click on the fly out there for measure and select distance. This will basically measure in millimeters like that. There you go. 882.65 millimeters. So basically what that means is I'm drawing everything in millimeters, real life full…
