- [Instructor] In the previous video, we utilized the ellipse tools in AutoCAD to generate an isometric view of a circular cylinder. Now in this particular video, I'm going to show you how to use more isometric tools in AutoCAD. We've got a new drawing for you. It's called, Isometric.dwg, and you can download it from the library to follow along with this particular video. When you open it up and jump into the Model tab you'll notice it's a half finished view, an isometric view of what looks like a 3D rectangular solid. Now make sure you are on the 'Objects' layer in the layer dropdown here in the layers panel, first of all. And then you need to make sure that you've got a particular setting switched on on your status bar. It's a particular drafting setting. It's this one here. Can you see it there? It's called ISO draft. If you click on it and switch it on, you see it goes that little blue color, you can turn off…
