- [Presenter] Once again, we're staying in our MetalPlate001.dwg file. And you can see I've left it in the same state as it was at the end of the last video, with our gradient fill that's gone to the back and our hatch pattern that's come to the front. What I'd like you to do now is go to your layer dropdown and make hatching your current drafting layer. And then we're going to go to the layer drop down again and gradient fill. We're going to click on the little sun symbol and actually freeze it in the drawing. So what that means now is I've just frozen it. I've hidden it. If I click on the snowflake for gradient fill again it comes back, but just freeze it for the moment and then hit escape a of couple of times to lose the layer dropdown menu. Now what we're going to do is we're going to edit some of our hatching. Now you can edit gradient fill in the same way, but we're going to edit the crosshatch here. So I'm…
