- [Instructor] We're staying in our new officeproject.dwg file, and you can see we're zoomed into the bins like we were in the previous video. Just double click on the wheel to zoom extents. Now we're going to take a look at creating and inserting Blocks into your AutoCAD drawings. Now, Blocks are incredibly useful. They allow you to reuse design content left, right and center. And the good thing is any AutoCAD object, or objects, can be made into a Block. Now we're going to create some Workstation Blocks. So before we do that, we go to the Home tab on the ribbon. Go to the Layer Properties here and click on New Layer, like so. And we're going to call the layer "Workstations", because ideally you want your blocks to go on their own respective layers. Press "Enter" after you've put the name in. I'm going to change the color here to color 2-10. So I'm just going to type it in here. 2-1-0 like so, and then click on "Okay".…
