- [Instructor] Waterfall was very good at delivering hardware and is still in use today. The primary value Waterfall gave us as UX professionals was a complete picture of the end product before we started our job. That linear and sequential delivery meant that we could read through the entire 80 plus page product requirement document and understand holistically what this product was going to be used for. We can have that before we started any of our work. This is the main thing that we're going to lose later as we move to Agile. We're no longer going to have this holistic, big picture view of the entire product as we do our job. So let's keep that in mind. The other thing Waterfall had going for it was it did place emphasis on detailed documentation at each stage. This made it very easy if people transitioned on and off the project.
