- [Instructor] One of the big advantages to using the Cinema 4D renderer in After Effects is that we are able to create true 3D extrusions for any layer of text. Couple that with the text animators and you have a very powerful system to create dynamic text all inside of After Effects. Let's take a look. In the second composition, I've got some 3D text here powered by the Cinema 4D renderer that enables reflections and you can see the extruded text of course. In my 03 start, we have the foreground element and the background element. Now we just need to insert some text. We'll right-click here, in this empty space and say new text. Over here I'm using the EF font with a heavy weight and I've got my all caps feature enabled and I'll start typing in here. The Big Apple with line breaks after each line. Now you may find that your text is not left aligned like it is here. So make sure your text layer is selected. Then…
