- [Instructor] Working in After Effects's 3D space, requires the use of a few tools that will help us move around our 3D layers easily. Here, we'll learn how to Orbit, Pan, and Dolly. Let's switch to this O-2 field composition where I've got several 3D layers and a few 2D layers as well. Now, because we have at least one 3D layer After Effects will put us into 3D compositing workspace. And over here, we have the ability to turn on draft 3D. I suggest you do that. It'll use your computer's GPU to help accelerate the interactivity. And also let's turn on this 3D ground plane. By turning on this grid, we can have a better context as to where we are in 3D space. Now to maneuver around our scene we can come up over here to these tools. We have the Orbit tool. We have the Pan tool and we have the Dolly tool. Let's start with the Orbit tool.
