- [Instructor] Previous to this release of Animate, would entering symbol instances that have been scaled, the brush and eraser would not scale along with the instance. This is no longer always the case as scaling values can be retained and reflected across editing workflows. This monster right here is a movie clip symbol instance. So if I select the monster, let's scale him down quite a bit so he's in the background. I'll then de-select him and choose my Classic brush tool. With that tool chosen, I can have a look at some of the tool Properties like the white fill that I'll be painting here. The Size is 30 right now. That's going to work out fine. And down below here, we have this new option, Scale size with symbol instance. I'm going to turn that off to start with and just draw a line next to the monster on the stage. We can see how large the line is, how thick it is. Switching back to my Selection tool, I can double-click on this movie clip symbol instance, to enter into the…
