- [Instructor] Components are encapsulated pieces of code and visual elements which provide a quick way to add buttons, steppers and other common UI elements to an interactive project. So, here we have a ActionScript 3.0 project type and here if we wanna see the components for these, we can go ahead and choose Window, and go down to Components. You'll notice that for ActionScript we have a number of components, things like buttons, check boxes and even video playback. Animate's contained a number of Flash-based components for a long, long time now. The good news is now we have a set of components for HTML5-based documents as well. Let's jump over to a Canvas document and you'll notice that my components all switch around. These are now all different components specifically for HTML5 Canvas.
