Position Summary
The role of the Water/Wastewater Project Engineer is to work on a variety of projects ranging from designing wastewater conveyance, water and wastewater treatment plants, and water distribution, completing related studies and evaluations, preparing contract documents, and permitting applications for various construction projects, and completing field work on construction sites. This person can be based in our Wall, NJ or Warren, NJ offices.

This person can be based in our Wall, NJ or Warren, NJ offices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work with a team in the development/delivery of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects including hydraulic and process evaluations, detailed design, and construction administration.
- Take responsibility with preparation of reports/findings, design plans and specifications, cost estimates and contract documents.
- Monitor and document project progress, provide support to project bidding and participate in office and field construction services.
- Ability to handle multiple and diverse projects.
- Client interaction skills including participation in client meetings and field interaction with clients and preparation/conducting presentations.
- B.S. Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering is required; M.S. Degree in Environmental is a plus.
- At least 2-5 years’ experience in the water/wastewater field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD drafting software, Microsoft Excel, and Project.
- Must have good organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
- P.E. a plus.
