Mark Andy is looking for a Stock Keeper to join our team! This role is for 2nd shift.
Second shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
The Stock Keeper performs duties required to pull and deliver parts for shop and work orders, stocks parts and processes customer orders.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pulls parts for machine shop and work orders using pick list
Picks, packs, and stages work orders for assembly operation
Receives parts from outside vendors according to ISO and other department procedures
Operates and maintains automated carousel/vertical parts storage system
Protects parts as required and deliver to the next work center
Stocks in-house make and vendor receipt parts; verifies quantities, checks for shortages, and completes procedures as required
Processes materials returns and requests forms and IRAD replacement requests as needed
Pulls parts for customer orders and delivers to shipping and receiving department
Performs cycle counts as required
Maintains a clean and orderly work area
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
Ability to work independently
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must obtain Mark Andy certification for: Forklift, Raymond order picker, counterbalance forklift, right angle picker, power pallet jack and overhead crane
High school diploma required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moderate to frequent exposure to shop environment; may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, fumes, chemicals, noise and moving parts. Work typically requires the usage of PPE and can require work on the facility’s production floor or customer’s production environment
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and move about facility and/or customer’s facilities. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
