Senior Treasury Analyst

A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have cash management and cash forecasting experience, as well as experience working in a manufacturing environment at a global organization.

The Senior Treasury Analyst role is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite. This is a client direct hire position.

Senior Treasury Analyst Key Responsibilities:

Daily Cash Forecasting:

• Develop and maintain accurate daily cash forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity management.
• Monitor cash positions and manage short-term borrowing and investment strategies.
• Analyze variances in cash flows and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.

Cash Forecasting and Management:

• Build and maintain comprehensive cash forecasts, aligning them with the company’s strategic financial goals.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data for forecasting and ensure forecasts reflect the latest business developments.
• Enhance forecasting models and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and SAP:

• Utilize Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and SAP to manage treasury operations efficiently.
• Ensure data integrity and system accuracy in TMS and SAP.
• Implement and optimize treasury-related modules and functionalities within SAP.

Debt Management:

• Assist in the management of the company’s debt portfolio, including monitoring debt levels, interest payments, and covenant compliance.
• Support the development and execution of debt financing strategies.
• Prepare reports and analysis related to debt management for senior leadership.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage financial risks, including currency and interest rate exposures.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and hedging programs.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and present detailed cash flow and liquidity reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve cash management and overall financial health.
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements related to treasury activities.

Senior Treasury Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in treasury, with a strong focus on daily cash forecasting and cash management.
• Proficiency in using Treasury Management Systems (TMS), SAP, HFM and/or PowerBI preferred.
• Experience in debt management, including monitoring and reporting on debt levels and compliance.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
