Position: Senior Learning & Talent Development Specialist
Reports to: Learning and Talent Development Manager
Location: Columbus, OH
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000

We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates, such as market location, experience, skills, and education.

The Superior Group seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Learning and Talent Development Team. This person will support our team members in coordinating and delivering training activities. This role is essential for our organization as they work across many departments and meet with stakeholders to ensure that the training developed meets the needs of each function in alignment with company goals. This position reports to the Learning and Talent Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and customers 
  • Maintain records of completed training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements 
  • Track and manage leadership program requirements to ensure compliance 
  • Manage our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Provide basic technical support and customer service to TSG team members 
  • Collaborate with project team subject matter experts to identify learning/training opportunities from current and new processes 
  • Build learning initiatives from department career pathways. 
  • Manage deployment of online content and coordinate aspects of in person training 
  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs that align with organizational skills
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and other training sessions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data driven decisions
  • Guide and mentor junior team members
  • Manage LTD Specialist(s)

 Your Expertise

  • Required: You have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field 
  • Required: You have 3-5 years of experience within the Electrical, Construction, or Safety industry. 
  • You have a minimum of 5 year’s of experience in coordinating and managing learning and talent development activities
  • You are the expert when it comes to instructional delivery 
  • Bonus points if you have experience with blended learning concepts (eLearning experience with Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise 360)
