About this role:
Top interiors studio seeks Front Office Administrator
A leading interior design studio based in New York City is seeking a new member of the team. The firm is composed of creative and innovative designers who are passionate about transforming spaces into beautiful and functional environments.
They are seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to join them. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the studio
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role ideally in a creative environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
