Quality Engineer


Our Quality Engineers establish controls for automotive accessories, data analysis and continuous improvement.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance plans and strategies for automotive production processes and products.
  • Define quality standards and specifications in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Identify areas for process improvement in manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Monitor production processes, inspect components, and conduct product testing to identify defects and non-conformities.
  • Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues, defects, and customer complaints.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address identified problems and prevent recurrence.
  • Evaluate and audit automotive suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
  • Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, defects, and performance indicators.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate quality performance to management and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with automotive industry regulations, standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO/TS 16949).
  • Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant quality and safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering required.
  • 2 yrs of Quality experience required.
  • Automotive experience preferred


Travel:

Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be able to pass EVerify.
