Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Patent Agent. The Patent Agent will be responsible for patent preparation, filing patent applications, analyzing patent law, conducting patentability assessments, and performing patent searches. The Patent Agent will also assist with drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing support to attorneys and clients.
Qualifications
Patent Preparation, Patent Applications, and Patent Law knowledge and experience
Ability to perform patentability assessments and conduct patent searches
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Experience in intellectual property law is a plus
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Registered as a Patent Agent with the US Patent and Trademark Office is a plus
