Responsibilities:
Direct safety programs for the facility
Lead compliance with OSHA regulations
Maintain OSHA documents
Maintain/inspect machines, equipment, and working conditions to ensure it is up to OSHA standards
Regularly inspects operations of the plant to assure compliance in both operation and equipment
Analyze incidents to reduce exposures
Communicate safety policies to current and new personnel
Reports potential violations and make corrections when needed
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate with employees
Submit performance reports
Check that production output is up to specifications
Identify efficiency issues and make suggestions to improve
Train new employees to use machinery safely and correctly
Qualifications:
Experience in Electronic Manufacturing
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA, accident investigations, and safety training
Ability to identify weak points in processes and organizational structures
Standard computer skills
Ability to present info and respond to questions from managers, employees, and customers
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, regulations, and professional journals
Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
