You will p rovide transaction advisory services including business valuations, financial modeling/analysis, financial due diligence, compliance support, business optimization, EBITDA enhancement, deal structuring, and special projects for clients in a variety of industries.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare both buy-side and sell-side due diligence analyses that includes making both pro-forma and due diligence adjustments in determining the subject companies’ EBITDA.
• Analyze complex and detailed financial statement information including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and key operational data. Synthesize and convert the data into meaningful information that is used to drive discussions with target management and drive observations and conclusions.
• Review subject company financial information and other data
• Prepare fair market value analyses of compensation, agreements, contracts, leases, etc.
• Create exhibits, detailed reports, and PowerPoint presentations for client management
• Performing and completing work which includes the preparation of work papers, preparing draft and final reports, and corresponding presentations/analyses
• Analyze and understand various financial documents including tax returns, financials statements, etc.
• Provide both advisory and technical knowledge to clients and team related to transactions, accounting, due diligence, etc.
• Lead teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, and coach staff.
• Manage deadlines, assigned client deliverables, and other supporting analysis as part of a team environment.
• Participate in meetings and conference calls with target company management and with client personnel and serve as a secondary point of contact for client personnel with respect to day-to-day execution matters.
• Assist in developing relationships with current and prospective clients while expanding services within a wide variety of industries.
• Communication with clients on the overall process of the engagement and corresponding the results of the analyses performed
• Utilize proven business development skills to build upon transaction advisory services work.
• Identify business opportunities and enhance go- to market strategies.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and 5-10 years previous experience in management/supervisor role in accounting, finance, tax, audit, valuation, M&A, IB/PE, etc.
• Exposure to Transaction Advisory/M&A.
• CPA or CPA candidate; CVA, ASA, CFA credential holders a plus, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret business documents, financial statements, tax returns, etc.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Motivated to perform creative research and quickly familiarize yourself with trends and characteristics related to new client ventures in a variety of industries.
• Ability to work independently on assignments in a fast-paced, tight deadline scenario while taking ownership of each project from start to finish.
• A proven business development record
• An ability to manage client relationships and multiple ongoing engagements.
